576106 2007-08-03 04:29:00 My son just emailed me this:

Just remembered the computer exploded last night, made a loud bang,
Skinner swears he saw the monitor flash, but that stayed on, the computer
switched off. Skinner smelled for any burning, wanted to open it. I just
turned it back on and it went fine. Any ideas?

What, he just remembered?

Skinner is an IT buddy of his.....I suggested perhaps Skinner should take a look....

576111 2007-08-03 05:09:00 I've seen a P4 overheat so much it popped up in the air - and took the socket with it. pcuser42 (130)

Hahaha, yeah, it's fun watching that. They explode and and destroy the board!

Youtube has lots of those videos.
