| 575398 | 2007-08-02 01:00:00 | i have a pc that doesnt seem to be found on the network either by Ipor DNS name, its assigned a DHCP address by my router which every other pc is connected to. It doesnt show up in the routers web interface, under attached devices, only the other machines. the same thing happens whether i give a static IP or not. I have tried my OSes and the same thing, the nic card is detected and i can surf the internet on it, and if i type \\localhost\sharename, i can see the share on it, same if i substitue localhost with the dns name or IP i get an answer. Even if i put win2k3 (yes i went thru every OS cd i have) i can install Active directory etc etc, but still its "invisible" on the network any ideas? | aidanmaz (7180) | ||
