I'm trying to remove PC-cillin from my lappie, but when I click on Remove in the above, it fades (?) out, and comes back and the Remove button is waiting to be pressed again. (Just as I did on my desktop and it worked fine). However....nothing further happens, and I don't get an "Uninstall" process to follow. Any other options? I'm sick of having to remove the battery from the lappie every time I use it as it "locks", and doesn't have a reset button. Gotta get rid of this damn Micro Trend C**P! (Foxy, next time I'll ask ya first :thumbs: ) |

| 577502 | 2007-08-07 04:50:00 | Hi, Download and install CCleaner: http://www.ccleaner.com/ and there is the option to display all installed programs, and then an option to run the installer for that program. Then go and download Nod32: http://www.eset.com/ and use this for your antivirus solution instead. much better than most other products out there with exceptions to Kasperspy which is quite advanced. Let me know if this doesn't work. |

| 577503 | 2007-08-07 06:47:00 | If DemonHunters instrustions dont work try looking in the Programs Files/PC Cillian folder for PCCTools.exe, this is the actual uninstall part of PC Cillian, try that directly. Hope that works for ya! |

Could be to do with one of windows security issues. Add/Remove programes won't remove them if any of that programes files are currently in use on the machine. |
