| 577131 | 2007-08-06 08:55:00 | I have two history entries saved in Legacy genealogy programme. One has been saved as .FG and the other in .TC When trying to open them it says that filename extensions are invalid and expected extension should be .FDB Is there anyway I can change them? Or anyway to open them to read them? | Tick1 (6970) | ||

| 577133 | 2007-08-07 00:09:00 | My .FG and .TC files are very small compared to my .fdb ones. I am wondering if they are something to do with an older version rather than a backup. When I backup it creates a zip and restoring from zip asks which database i want all with fdb extensions. I see nothing about them on Legacy's site apart from reference to unzipping a backup and it creates a FG file. |

| 577135 | 2007-08-07 06:05:00 | Thanks Bantu. You may be right; could be old versions. I can find no reference to those extensions either. | Tick1 (6970) | ||
| 577136 | 2007-08-07 21:33:00 | Tick I use version 5 of Legacy. I just tried creating a new database and once I added a name it creates a .TC file. I have no idea why, but it is very small in size compated to the actual database file. 1.24Mb compared to 41Bytes | Bantu (52) | ||
