576392 2007-08-04 12:49:00 What is this XPCOM: Event Receiver? Every time when I shut down my laptop (only happens to one of the user accounts), this pop up window appears and I have to end it manually and it takes about a minute to end it manually. Made a google search and it seems that it has something to do with Firefox.

My laptop is running XP Media Centre edition with all the latest updates. Is there a fix for this problem?

576393 2007-08-04 12:56:00 Looks like it has something to do with firefox.

And plugins.

Altho it looks like noone knows what it actually means or how to fix it.

Look here (www.google.co.nz)

And here (kb.mozillazine.org ystem_shutdown)

576394 2007-08-04 14:11:00 Perhaps you could try disabling a few plugins a time to see which one is causing an issues or simply re-install FF and start from scratch. beeswax34 (63)
576395 2007-08-04 14:22:00 FireFox has some new features when you start it in safe mode, you should try that and see. zqwerty (97)
