576442 2007-08-05 04:19:00 Don't know if this wil fix the problem, but I notice from the Hijack log that you have two Antiviruses installed, Nod32 & AVG.
Remove one of them as antivirus programs can fight one another and cause problems.( this will cause debate :D ) but I'd keep Nod32 ( if its upto date) it catches more infections , remove AVG.

See if that makes any difference. The antiviruses may be conflicting when scanning Email or word documents.

PS: Temp is not to bad, mine runs at around 37- 40 Degrees C, P4 3.0 Yours is not in the saftey shut down range.

PSS: is the PC only restarting in word and Email or at other times.
What I'm leading to is failing memory can also cause random restarts

576444 2007-08-05 05:42:00 now that i think about it the only time it will randomly restart is when i have any program open (not just word or e-mail)(only does this once or twice a day). but not when i just have the desktop showing with no programs running apart from background ones. spaceman8815 (4112)
576445 2007-08-05 06:01:00 Sounds very much like a memory fault try running microsoft memory diagnostic, free download or mem86 if it's still available also a free download.
Turning off automatic restart will mean that the next time it happens you will get an error message or a BSOD which might give a clue as to what is going on or you could have a look in system event log at the time of each failure that will at least indicate a consistant condition.
Stabbing around blind will take forever to find the problem.

576446 2007-08-05 10:10:00 If none of the above helps it could be a dodgy power supply unit or powerboard. Try changinging your power lead to a different socket on your powerboard ( or try a different powerboard). Grimy (3041)
