I am unwell and on all sorts of medication, causing dry skin. My question is, are there phones that will work, with dry skin? Was thinking about one of these, HTC WINDOWS 8 PHONE, as being windows thought be better than android phones. |

| 1418356 | 2016-03-28 04:45:00 | Can't answer your question, but I also have a dry skin problem. I find moistening my fingers helps with the touch screen. Also I have a stylus which I can use as my fat fumbling fingers don't always go where I want them to. |

| 1418361 | 2016-03-28 20:30:00 | I got a cheap pen style stylus from a $2 shop that works fairly well with most touch screens. If a stylus has the same problem as your finger maybe it's the phone that's got the problem. Have you tried playing with some touch screen devices in store to see if it is you or not ? Also smart phones do need to be restarted from time to time I find. Much like a PC they can get a bit flaky after a while if you never shut them down. | dugimodo (138) | ||
| 1418362 | 2016-03-28 20:40:00 | Yes I got mine of Trade Me, for about that. When we bought the ph, last May, we had been in Dick Smith play with I Pads, etc and found they worked. About a year before they didn't, thats why I bought ph, with my txt return. I was charging phone, over night and always do it with phone turned off. It's annoying with these phones that alarms don't work when turned off. Non smart phones turn on to sound alarms. Not sure if there;s any app's that might help this? |

| 1418363 | 2016-03-28 22:54:00 | I don't think google in their wisdom thinks anyone needs to leave their phone turned off ever. No app will help as they won't be running while it's off either. If you want to use it as an alarm leave it turned on. Myself I leave the phone charging in an entirely different room. It's prone to randomly waking up and making noises or lighting up the room so it's not a great thing to have beside the bed. |

Since then been charging in lounge whilst it been. I'll do that tonight, turned on. Any good apps you can recommend to keep it healthy? |
