| 1418222 | 2016-03-26 21:27:00 | Does that laptop support Win7 tho?? Are there drivers for it? | Speedy Gonzales (78) | ||
| 1418223 | 2016-03-26 22:39:00 | I am using the install DVD with SP1. You may find the update client is now to old so you need to install a newer one manually first, Scroll down the following page and select the right one for your install: ( Method 2) support.microsoft.com Have a read of this article: windows.microsoft.com Also make sure your time and date are correct. Had this happen a few times where it was to far out and updates wouldn't work as the computer was trying to tell MS it was 2035 ( or something like that) :rolleyes: |

| 1418224 | 2016-03-27 06:58:00 | The last Windows 7 update I did was in 2010. Download the correct drivers from the manufacturers. You can always switch on the updates later. |

| 1418226 | 2016-03-27 20:28:00 | Has MS stopped Win7 support? No success with the laptop above. I am running the Win7 update for my dual boot (Win7 & Win10) desktop. My last update was 27/06/2015. It has been 'Checking for updates' for more than half an hour now and still checking ... or MS is also having their Easter holidays???? |
