1417943 2016-03-22 17:57:00 Could be updates, they do that occasionally. Also could be overheating. dugimodo (138)

What OS (might be an auto winupdate restart)
how old is the PC/laptop ?
how often ?
is the shutdown instant or can you see it shutting down nicely

hard/quick restarts usually a hardware issue. Could be overheating, faulty MB or vid card, bad power supply etc etc etc

1417945 2016-03-22 22:05:00 It can mean the PSU is faulty. Look in event viewer under windows logs/system. If there are any event 41 errors, thats what it can mean Speedy Gonzales (78)
1417946 2016-03-23 22:09:00 You should also uncheck 'Automatically restart' as that will allow you to read the STOP codes.

(ctrl panel\System\Advanced system settings\Startup and recovery Settings).
