1417283 2016-03-11 07:49:00 Hi All.

I have noticed over the last few weeks that it is difficult to connect to the internet on Xtra, here in Wanganui. Mostly during the evenings mostly & to particular sites. We are on ADSL2 & this is sufficient for us. Has Chorus got a secret agenda going in an attempt to force people to go to Fibre? Or is it a case of to many people on the same piece of equipment, deliberately or accidentally?. I imagine such as Netflix would not help. PJ

1417284 2016-03-11 20:39:00 Try a speed test when it happens and again when it's working properly and see how it compares, if there's a big difference it's probably just congestion during busy times.
Chorus do want people to move to fibre but they are not doing anything to the existing services to force it, other than putting the price up a bit and having an add campaign for switching.
