2016-04-17 08:09:00 | A question for you relating to compatibility. Will a Intel Pentium processor 3GHz g2030 work with a Asus P8H61 LX Plus motherboard? | karbren (14078) | |
2016-04-18 06:20:00 | Just a thought -- Relating to the USB drives not booting, it may be the way you are using Rufus ( assuming you are using that to create the Bootable Drive), since the HDD has already got W10 on it, just remembered you have to change/check some setting in Rufus. Make sure you select GPT scheme and Fat32 format. 7116 This of course wont stop the Freezing of the OS, but should cure the USB drives not booting. I use a CD to boot from and wipe drives and thats no problem with a GPT partition.

2016-04-19 05:15:00 | I am trying to update my second computer, but some updates won't install. I am not sure if the updates are causing my computer to not start properly. I know I may have a memory issue but I can't use the memtest, because as soon as I load anything on the computer it freezes. I have had it running for a week now and it has been stable for the most part. Tonight it seems it doesn't want to stay running. Any suggestions as to why it keeps freezing. I have read this online and it might help you out find the real cause of the problem on your computer. Try to analyze the problem and follow the guidelines here at How to Fix Problems Caused by Windows Update. You could easily google search on that topic online.

2016-04-19 09:41:00 | I formatted my spare HDD and loaded my W8 DVD onto it and after a few hiccups updated all the updates required. I couldn't update to W10 because i didn't have Windows OS was not activated. So I downloaded W8.1 and let it in stall. It froze at 82%, so basically it was almost ready for me to use. So i restarted the computer and let it wind back to W8, but another problem struck. It said I had to do a restore. But when it tried to restore it just hung there doing nothing. SO i turned the computer off then restarted it and was asked to restore it again. SO I did but it just hung there for ages doing nothing and now it won't let me do anything. Its starts but say due to a problem it will not load up. So I tried all that I could but nothing worked. I am looking up your suggestion but it baffles me as to why sometimes the updates work fine then the next one screws up. | karbren (14078) | |
2016-04-19 21:00:00 | The freezing will be caused by one of the following. 1. Faulty Install/Software 2. Bad Memory, - either faulty or wrong frequency. 3. Hard Drive or connection between Drive and Motherboard problem. 4. Faulty Motherboard. . High chance its hardware. All the re-installs in the world wont fix it.

2016-04-20 09:15:00 | I am thinking it is the motherboard as it was in my other computer to start with and I had the same problems. When I put my new one in all seemed to go away and I haven't had any real issues since. I know checking the RAM is a priority but it didn't seem to be an issue when I put the same RAM into my main computer. SO yes you could be right there. | karbren (14078) | |
