2016-04-04 11:07:00 | What happened when you used it? Booted from the flash drive after?? What did you select in it? MBR or UEFI? | Speedy Gonzales (78) | |

"IF" theres some sort of fault on the graphic card doesn't matter what you do ( even a fresh install) it will error. Removing the graphic card and using onboard Graphics ( if it has them) will determine if its a card fault, OR put in another known Graphic Card. This is all part of fault finding -- Find out what's causing the problem, no point in a part unless you know its faulty. |

2016-04-05 09:15:00 | I have a Gigabyte motherboard GA-B75M-D3H but when I plugged into it nothing showed up on the monitor, SO I am assuming it doesn't have one and I don't have a spare as such unless i take it out of my main computer | karbren (14078) | |
2016-04-05 09:43:00 | Tried card out of my other computer but it loads until the start screen should show to log in but the screen is kinda blank not black or blue but with nothing showing. So I am doing a system restore and hopefully start again reload graphics driver and see if my card will work. | karbren (14078) | |
2016-04-05 10:25:00 | I had to do a refresh as my computer would not load up. But no doubt I will have to re-install all my updates again first before re-installing 8.1. Its sure fun and never a dull moment like you said | karbren (14078) | |
2016-04-07 20:15:00 | Eureka the DISM scan worked this time and it updated to W8.1. I will go to W10 on here eventually but still not sure if it was the graphics card. I did read of an update causing issues of freezing and not working as there was a real problem with it, but hey thanks for all the help | karbren (14078) | |

2016-04-09 10:24:00 | I have successfully upgraded to W10 but now my computer freezes on startup. Not sure why yet as it had been working fine after the upgrade. Possibly I haven't a compatibility issue maybe on a driver but that doesn't explain it when I get to the log in and it freezes after that | karbren (14078) | |
