1411703 2015-11-23 04:59:00 Looks like people who did a clean install of 10586 found that bitlocker wont enable. It'll come up with a parameter is incorrect error

Could be one reason why MS pulled it from the site

Personally I think its to unstable on some hardware. Nothing at all to do with the reason they gave.

Done two today, upgrades from the ISO downloaded before they pulled it, one of the Home and a fresh install using the persons original W7 key --- No problems what so ever. Tried the bitlocker on a workshop Pro PC that had the ISO used - Again no problems.

Maybe MS should actually tell the truth as no one actually believes what they gave for the reasons.

1411706 2015-11-25 00:02:00 I wonder how many people will upgrade to Win10 if it is not FREE? bk T (215)

1411708 2015-11-25 01:45:00 So the big question is --------------- Why didn't Microsoft say what was wrong in the first place, instead of making up several different false stories. ????

The laughable part :)

That means lawyers were involved, and when the legal team shows up, normal communication grinds to a halt.

1411709 2015-11-25 02:51:00 I have stuck with the original release and had no problems, does everything I want, maybe the later versions have extra gimmicks, but I don't need them.
I still prefer W7, and only have W10 because it is free.
