| 1417228 | 2016-03-10 09:21:00 | Just recently when I run MSconfig and select startup tab I noticed a ticked new item called Persecution Perturbations. The manufacturer is listed as Radlight Inc. The file path shown is C:\Users\NEILF\then ............. before Apps\Roaming etc. I don't understand the ...... part so tried to find Manufacturer or startup item by searching under C:. I had no luck. On Google under Radlight Inc it describes them as media type -m4etc but nowhere is Persecution Perturbations mentioned. Does anyone know of this Persecutions item? I can remove the tick for "run at startup" but would like to know more about it and if dangerous how to remove it since I can only see it under MSconfig Startup tab FYI I am running Windows 7 Professional 64 bit and MS Office 2016. All my MS Win7 updates are current as at today. thanks Neil |

| 1417231 | 2016-03-11 23:12:00 | Thanks for your comments. Interestingly -it has since disappeared. I unticked it in MSConfig Startup tab. Yesterday morning I got a Trojan Threat detect ( no mention of Persecution etc.) from Microsoft Security Essentials - removed the threat and lo and behold Persecution Perturbations has disappeared. I'll accept the "win" but don't know why because when it (Persecution) appeared here was no threat warning. |
