My bets a real problem :) ( from experiences so far)

1411694 2015-11-22 07:05:00 Further to above ; Microsoft are full of **** :D

From technet.microsoft.com (social.technet.microsoft.com) The end of the post lists lots of errors people are having.

The response from Microsoft is
These downloads cannot be used to update Windows 10 PCs to the November update (Version 1511)." Source (www.zdnet.com)

Bollocks -- Better tell the thousands of people that have done exactly that.

Truth be known there's a big fault in some way, could be security, could be something like a activation boo-boo-- Who knows.

1411695 2015-11-22 07:17:00 Installed Win10 (1151), with the ISO someone posted a link to on Neowin. Works fine on 2 PC's. Both activated ok as well Speedy Gonzales (78)
1411696 2015-11-22 19:58:00 Well i took it off and then created a usb (before they took it down) and now have 1151 10586.11 installed so far all good.

the first upgrade broke a few drivers but they reinstalled fine. that's when i decided to try a full nuke and install from usb to see what would happen.

Could it be that MS changed there mind re super easy install & activation of 10 ?
ie, they now no longer want Win10 to be easily installed from scratch using a Win7,8 install key , they want to go back to the old method of forcing an in place upgrade & an activation that links to the hardware (ie no actual key for ug's)

Im sure some would have been using their Win7,8 key to start installing 10 on a 2nd PC (perhaps even on a 3rd?), perhaps that had MS paniced ?
All just speculation of course :)

1411701 2015-11-23 04:15:00 Looks like people who did a clean install of 10586 found that bitlocker wont enable. It'll come up with a parameter is incorrect error

Could be one reason why MS pulled it from the site

1411702 2015-11-23 04:36:00 Hmm the prob above isnt once you boot into windows.

On the reddit site (www.reddit.com) if it's enabled (TPM, in the BIOS) it looks like windows wont boot at all

Must apply to SOME systems. Just checked it on the desktop here thats got a TPM module on the mobo. It boots fine. And it says TPM is ready to use.
