Depends on Spec's.

Noel Leeming: www.noelleeming.co.nz = $1600

Direct from Microsoft, same price , $1600 www.microsoftstore.com ords+Surface+Pro+4+-+EN&s_kwcid=AL!4249!3!48305066624!b!!g!!order%20micros oft%20%2Bsurface%20%2Bpro%20%2B4&ef_id=Vkj7oQAAAR99-HBy:20151115213945:s

1411445 2015-11-15 21:46:00 I like them too, but the price keeps putting me off. That is a lot of cash for a tablet. Add to that the peripherals cost hundreds as well.
Cheapest on pricespy is JB Hi-Fi and PBtech at $1598.50 and $1599

A while back I was considering the previous model, but ended up buying a cheap acer 10" tablet instead. Turns out it's good Enough for me and at $600 a whole lot cheaper. At $1800 I'd buy a decent laptop personally.

1411446 2015-11-15 22:24:00 Depends what you are going to do with it,still expensive to replace a desktop and to cumbersome to travel with

Surprised that it comes with a 30 day trial Office

Picked up on Choice Cheapies a Nextbook 8 couple of weeks ago for $85,pretty barebones but came with Office 2016 for 1 year and just got a 64GB card for storage which was just about non existent

Really impressed with it

Core M is the bottom end for the SP4, not the i5.

1411452 2015-11-17 18:59:00 Does sound like a good deal, until you realise it's not the pro version. It's an atom powered 10" tablet, Acer and Asus sell one with similar specs and a detachable keyboard for around $600. Sure the surface is a little nicer and a bit thinner/lighter but is that worth $200 ? ($400 if it wasn't for the "free" keyboard cover option) dugimodo (138)
