| 578012 | 2007-08-08 01:43:00 | I don't know what I fiddled with to break this - it was working fine yesterday!! When I click on a link in an email (Outlook 2003), instead of opening Opera - my default, Internet Exploder (v7) opens. I assume I have fiddled with a setting in "Set Program Access & Defaults" (XP Pro): there are four sections there "Computer Manufacturer", "Microsoft Windows", "Non-Microsoft" and "Custom" (not sure what the difference is between the last two). I have ticked 'Opera' in "Custom", each browser has the 'Enable access' option ticked, but the radio button for "Use my current Web browser" remains on...  |

Heres how to check 1.Go to Tools > Preferences > Advanced > Programs 2.Tick the checkbox for "Check if Opera is default browser on startup". 3.Next time you start Opera, answer "Yes" when the dialog asks you if you want Opera to be the default browser on your computer. |
