577783 2007-08-07 10:30:00 I had a look at the F1 and found a thread but this did not explain why the firefox keep losing bookmark. It happened last month and it was okay for a few weeks. Today it happened again. Do you know what is causing the firefox to lose the bookmark again and how to stop it from happening?
It is getting wee bit annoying as I really liked the Firefox.

Thanks

577784 2007-08-07 10:33:00 For me it often happens when Firefox is suddenly closed, in instances such as a sudden BSoD, conflict or a hard reset. qazwsxokmijn (102)
577785 2007-08-07 11:26:00 Well always keep a copy of your bookmarks backed up so you can always easily restore it. Secondly, I'd re-install it and update it to the latest 2.0.06 version. beeswax34 (63)
577786 2007-08-07 12:18:00 I made a post about this issue before (pressf1.pcworld.co.nz)
I'm guessing that's the one you saw?

didn't find a cure for it but I guess at least from FF's own backup you can still get the bookmarks back

um..also I haven't lost any bookmarks since my last incident
so hopefully won't happen to you again anytime soon
