577815 2007-08-08 07:58:00 probably yeah, Vista has been a little unstable for me :annoyed: lampano (12640)
577816 2007-08-08 08:07:00 I don't see what the big fuss about Vista is, I am currently running Vista Ultimate 64 bit and it runs like a dream!
Sure there are a few customizations that need to be made, but isn't that the same with any OS?

As for uninstalling the program, try going into your program files, locate the folder of the application that you are trying to uninstall, and there should be a uninstall.exe file located in there, run this.

Changing OS's wouldn't solve the problem, its just an uninstall problem.

577817 2007-08-08 08:22:00 Alright, could this be a virus then? I use Mcafee wich I dont know if it's good or not. This certainly feels like it is a virus . When i tryed uninstall softwares they only show that i have about 5 programs installed. lampano (12640)

577819 2007-08-09 19:26:00 Why are you right-clicking to uninstall the application?

You should just be left clicking on the remove/uninstall button .

Clicking this button automatically starts the Adobe uninstall application which removes the program .

cheers

PS . . . change back to XP . . . . Vista doesn't play nice all the time . . . and generally isn't worth the time, money or hassle . . . at least not yet!!!

There is nothing wrong with Vista . With a little patience it works remarkably better than XP, Ubuntu, and OSX imo . (the only os's i've used in recent times)

Simply suggesting to change os's is pointless advice . Vista works fine . . . all the scare mongering on the net just pisses me off .

Hey guys just woke up thanks for all the answers!

Nothing have worked yet so im thinking maybe a OS change would do some good :badpc:

Anyone can think of anything else to do?

Don't change OS's over something as basic as this .

Start > Control Panel > Uninstall A Program > 'Highlight' Adobe Photoshop > Click 'Uninstall/Change' on the taskbar near the top .

Thats the method that works for me . I'm a Vista user and I just followed that process to check it and it worked fine :)

EDIT: I've probably just repeated someone else . . . i didn't read the whole thread :(

There're far too many people complaining about Vista for it to be regarded as a stable o/s. Evidently you're one of the lucky few who manage to live with it.

Dosn't Vista mean "Lookout"
