577492 2007-08-07 05:39:00 You don't need a keyboard to reset the BIOS.
Once the BIOS is reset, why would you need to go into the BIOS?
If the usb ports had been disabled, they would now be re-enabled and they would be fine.
Read my previous post more carefully please ;)

577493 2007-08-07 05:42:00 i understand what he means, if i was to reset the biops then the keyboard might start working and therefore i would be able to reconfigure it. ill try it. almunro (7531)
577494 2007-08-07 05:49:00 Glad to hear you got the point
Not too sure why you would want to reconfigure the BIOS - are you overclocking or something?
As already mentioned i doubt very much if this is the problem, but everything is worth a try

577495 2007-08-07 05:53:00 Well, HOPEFULLY resetting the BIOS fixes it.

Otherwise, that wont be only thing that wont be working.

577496 2007-08-07 05:57:00 Just my 2 cents worth:2cents: if you are able to locate a Linux Live CD like Knoppix and boot from that it will detect any working ports, if the Keyboard / Mouse are not detected by the Live CD then theres a good chance the Boards faulty. Good luck wainuitech (129)
577497 2007-08-07 06:02:00 True, while on similar topic, you could also try Windows Ultimate Boot CD. Bozo (8540)
