578513 2007-08-09 04:39:00 TEoR could probably answer that although I would have said that IT support was the equivalent of sending someone from the IT dept to fix your computer and the other two were who you rang if you had a problem and they 'might" be able to sort it over the phone. winmacguy (3367)

Helpdesk means you answer the phone.

Desktop support and IT support is the same thing. Theres level 1 - answer phone, level 2 - go to PCs and fix problem, level 3 - go to servers and fix problem.
