| 579535 | 2007-08-12 06:07:00 | Have you tried re-installing it? Remove the program, run a CCleaner scan and then try re-installing it again and so if that fixes the problem. | beeswax34 (63) | ||

End task :) If you had taken the time to read the explanation of the problem correctly, i think that you will find that this has already been tried unsuccessfully. Please read the problem carefully :( |

My only regret is that this unfortunately is far too drastic a step for those occasions when Mrs T won't stop . Perhaps a bucket of cold water might . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . :xmouth: Cheers Billy 8-{) :p |

| 579538 | 2007-08-13 03:57:00 | I agree with the switch idea- will kill anything, as will pulling the power plug out . :p I don't know much about the rosetta stone program . . . but is it an earlier version before XP? In other words, is your system XP and the program originally made for Win98 or something? If so, you can run the program in 'compatibility mode' by right clicking on the desktop icon for the program then click properties and there might be a tab marked 'compatibilty', if there is click on it, tick the box and choose an earlier opsys from the drop down menu, then click apply and OK . This might help, or might not . |

If it is java you may be able to fix it by clearing your java cache (in the java control panel). Do you have this problem with ANY other applications at all? When I hit end task, a window pops up that says "Macromedia Projector" where it has the Send Error Report button as well. So I'm assuming it works in conjunction with Macromedia Projector. |
