579540 2007-08-11 07:57:00 Hi all

I have only just recently got back into playing Sims2 (like just this afternoon)and I have a problem.
I have no tilt/pitch control with my MS cordless wheel mouse and it makes
game play dificult.( I used to push the wheel and drag the mouse and I had tilt/pitch)
How do I change the settings? I imagine it is something in the mouse
settings accessed via control panel.

Can anyone help. (I have scoured the Sim2 sites and forums and cant find any answers)

Thanks

You normally change the settings as you mentioned in Control panel / Mouse. Make sure you have the correct software installed that came with the Mouse / keyboard otherwise the features/tabs may not show under Mouse Settings.

579542 2007-08-11 08:18:00 Yeah I have all the right software installed for the mouse but there are heaps of different options for the "press wheel click" and I cant remember which one it is that when activated give the tilt/pitch control in Sims2 game play.

The scroll wheel button needs to be set to Auto-Scroll......
I now have tilt/pitch......

Oh how I love my new super quiet super fast grunty machine since its upgrade.......

Hi Neil

I bought a Keyboard and mouse package.
The mouse is a MS Wireless Optical Mouse 2.0 and is a few years old now but still working well.
There are so many cordless mice out there now I would have no idea where to start.
I do know that I would never go back to a cord mouse by choice. (I use one at work but that's not by choice ;) )

All the best in your search.

579546 2007-08-13 12:21:00 The MS ones are nice but I so want the new Logitech one. Damn, it looks good and it felt like it was custom designed for my hand:D beeswax34 (63)
579547 2007-08-13 23:23:00 Thanks Meg and beeswax.
Have been looking at the MS 6000 version.Looks very scuwif to me,don't know how comfortable it would be!
Also been eyeing the Logitech ones, but $220 is a bit steep for what I want.
Have been moved into a smaller cupboard that can be shut to hide all my mess,so looking for something that won't catch on all the bits and pieces.
