579274 2007-08-10 21:19:00 Bought this Train Sim called Trainz Driver and it well only let me install it on C: drive, although I change the drive name in the installer on what drive to install it.

Another problem I have with it I tried to remove from C: drive, as it has only left me with about 200mb of space after install. I removed it via the add remove programe in Control Panel, but it seems to only have removed the folders, as when I try to reinstall it, it comes up with the not enough disk space message. When I check the disk space sure enough I only have 200mb of space left. Is there anyway to remove this program. Have tried various options but nothing seems to work like view hidden files etc. BTW have reinstalled it onto my C: drive by removing another programe, but still want to get rid of the first install.

not overly helpful lol.

To manually remove it, delete all the files and directories that it created on your hard drive, and then delete the entries it made in your registy. (start - run - 'regedit' 'HKEY_Local_Machine\Software\your game entries)

When installing the game, there should be an option to perform Custom or Typical install. Choose the Custom install and you will be able to specify the hard drive and directory you want it installed on.

Which is why I didn't say that. Because if you read his post, he installed the game again in a different folder.
So taking the reg entires out will stuff both installs.

579278 2007-08-11 06:05:00 Yes before I reinstalled it I did a reg. clean, ran disk cleanup etc. Do you mean manually install it. How do you do that.
