| 579150 | 2007-08-10 20:53:00 | I have had my computer for just over a year now and in the past 4ish months I've had blue error screens popping up every time I go on a game. The screen has IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL and I've had one saying DRIVER_IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL too. I've took it back to the shop I bought it from and had everything removed and reinstalled but it still hasn't helped. Also, the internet, windows media player, MSN, etc will randomly close down and sometimes messages like 'Out of memory' will come up and other messages similar to that. I've also had a little yellow badge thing with an exclamation mark come up in the little toolbar in the bottom right saying 'Windows Virtual Memory Minimum too Low'. Is there something I need to buy for my computer or just a download that'll fix it? If anyone could help it would be much appreciated :) | mince pie (12648) | ||
| 579151 | 2007-08-10 21:19:00 | What version of Windows? If XP, does task manager open? Does regedit open? How much ram is in it? How big is the hard drive? What game? Get hijackthis in my sig below. Put it in its own folder. Run it, then click on scan the system and save a log. Copy and paste the log here. It sounds like it could be a video driver prob. Does the BSOD if u see it, say the name of a file/driver on the bottom of the screen?? If so, whats the name of the driver/file? I would get ccleaner (http://www.ccleaner.com) Install it (untick Yahoo toolbar), and then click on run cleaner. Close browser/s. Then will delete temp files etc off the hdd. |

The Game is Diablo II: Lord of Destruction, but I have also installed a mod or it called Nezeramontias and I don't know how to check my ram or hard drive, etc |

If the my computer icon is on the desktop, right mouse on it / properties. Under the general tab, It shows you the speed and the amount of ram installed. Or if your keyboard has a windows pic/icon on it, press this and pause key on your keyboard. This will bring up the same window above. I would get hijackthis as in my previous post. If it wont run in normal mode, install it and do the log in safe mode (press / hold F8 down, after u reboot), and select safe mode, when the menu appears. And get ccleaner as well (as in my previous post). |

| 579154 | 2007-08-10 22:09:00 | Ta. I have 2.00 GHz and 224 MB of RAM. I'll try that ccleaner too and get back to you with what happens | mince pie (12648) | ||
| 579155 | 2007-08-10 22:21:00 | That'll be the main prob not enough memory. It looks like its enough for Diablo, but depending on what is running in XP, 256mb isnt enough. You're pushing things a bit. |
