| 578914 | 2007-08-10 00:53:00 | I have just created a new User account on Win XP Pro SP2, and I am the only user . When I come to accessing software on the new account, I have to re-install the programs in order to use them. Is there any way around this? |

Is it stuff that you have installed under the administrator account? if this is so, you will need to make sure that either your new account has administrative rights, or that you have rights to access the programs. When you installed the programs in the first place, did you make them shared for all users on this pc, or private only? |

I would say that some of your programs are missing their shortcuts in the Start Menu. Just create new shortcuts yourself and you will be able to run the programs. |
