580503	2007-08-13 16:35:00	I bought an antivirus AVG which I installed on my computer but now it needs updates. I'm not connected to internet but my brother is. How can I download the updates to go and update on my computer? Plaese help. fkapepa	fkapepa (9474)
580504	2007-08-13 19:48:00	My AVG (even the free version) will update and install automatically when I am on line...which with DSL is anytime I have one of my units online. I don't understand..do you want to download them through his computer and somehow get them proxied by your brother? I don't know if what you want to do is possible......AVG should be doing some sort of a parity check on the unit that has paid for the program and I can't think of how you can fake out AVG that way..even if it isn't for nefarious purposes. And another point..if you don't use your computer on the internet, why did you get an antivirus program in the first place?	SurferJoe46 (51)
580505	2007-08-13 21:06:00	Seconding SJ's question - why get AV if your not on the net? To update it without getting the PC in question on the net, get a USB flash drive or similar, and go to www.grisoft.com, they allow you to download the definition updates manually, copy the downloaded file to the flash drive, then pop it in the other PC, and install the update. When it goes to update, select 'folder' and browse to the flash drive. (exampe) You can use a DVD for all I care... How did you expect it to update?	wratterus (105)
