579926 2007-08-12 09:56:00 Whenever I am given a web address to access from an e-mail, nothing happens. I have to copy and paste it into my Internet Explorer . Is there a reason for this ? . I am using Windows XP , Internet explorer and Outlook Express. Bernard Welford bwelford (1565)
579927 2007-08-12 10:14:00 Is Outlook Express the default email client?

Are you using anything else like Outlook, or another email client as well?

Or close Outlook Express

Go to start/run type this

regsvr32 urlmon.dll

Then try OE again. See if it works.

579931 2007-08-13 05:42:00 The DllRegisterServer in urldll succeeded , and IE is my default browser.
Still does not work When in my Outlook Express , and click on to a URL suggested in a mail I have, the URL appears at trhe top of my screen in a narrow window of Internet Explorer, but when I open Internet explorer , it just comes up with Google, which is my preferred IE homepage . No amount of waiting or doing anythihg other than highlighting the address ,then copying and pasting to IE will work. Thanks for help.
