| 580008 | 2007-08-14 03:14:00 | I hate speedtest.net and NZDSL as they are not accurate for measuring speeds of over 5MB it seems. On my 10Mb cable I can ALWAYS get 9Mb+ and usually 10MB REAL LIFE downloading from a known fast source or multisource. While many of these speed test sites only show 5MB, every now and again they show an accurate reading. I believe it relies on there server load as to its accuracy or routing. I hate seeing the media using these speed tests in articles and to draw conclusions is just plain.......pick a word. |
