I say great idea.

580718 2007-08-30 16:43:00 Sure was, just agreeing with you, and I was using the MS newsgroup site yesterday, which showed your suggestion in action . The glory is all yours!

In the beginning of the digital age . . . it was suggested that we'd be saving whole rain forests of trees by not using paper to transmit info, ask questions, perform socially significant interactions via mail and packaging .

So . . . . . many have gone the paperless way with electrons and wired or wireless communications . . . this forum is an example .

My current concern is the blatant abuse of electrons via the internet .

Did any of us see this coming? All those little electrons being killed and losing their electrical charge just so we can chat and e-mail and post . . . . <sigh> it's a shame .

Who will fight for the rights of the lowly electrons?

[edit: I think you are beyond help. You picked a thread belonging to a Mod to spam? The said thread is also stickied immediately above the "Yee shall not spam this forum" rules thread? Not a very bright bunny huh? Best Regards, Jen (Moderator)]

580721 2007-09-06 00:54:00 From now on, please refrain from adding your opinion to a thread where the original question has been answered . We are currently looking at the possibility of creating a 'resolved threads' part of the forums where users can browse/search resolved questions, but for now please keep these forums as tidy as possible .

Right, now can we apply this principle to this thread ( . pcworld . co . nz/showthread . php?t=82704&page=2" target="_blank">pressf1 . pcworld . co . nz) please?

Whilst credit must go to the few that did attempt to give helpful answers, less than a handful of replies are actually related to the original poster's question . The rest are posting their views and opinions on the OP's choice of PC .

Not a good look for a new member of this forum . :groan:
