| 580785 | 2007-08-14 05:34:00 | I have Windows Vista and microsoft outlook 2007, when I try to open a link in an email I get the following message "This operation has been canceled due to restrictions in effect on this computer. Please contact your system administrator" I am as far as i know the system administrator and am the only one that uses the computer |

See if this works (www.cnblogs.com) The setting in the current version of Vista may be in different locations, Maybe someone whos got Vista in front of them can check and advise. Mines reformatting currently. |

Mines reformatting currently. UPDATE to the above. click on start Orb, type in Default Programs in the search window, it will appear in the listing. Select that, Follow first Picture in link above, select custom, expand custom settings with down arrow on right of box, select Internet Explorier. If you have another web browser installed Vista isn't reconizing it, hopefully it will work with IE. Damn to slow to update my own post:lol: |
