| 579946 | 2007-08-12 23:06:00 | I downloaded the unofficial Vista SP1 and its 148mb, of course this won't be the final size and it excludes the fixes for downloads and copy paste, also the performance one. | 579948 | 2007-08-12 23:45:00 | Don't know if this has been posted before, however microsoft have now released a couple of Vista updates. One (think it is KB938979) is designed to improve the speed of machines, with other features as well, however it made a vast difference to this Acer Aspire 5100 series laptop. You need to be careful though, as there are two KB938979 files listed, one for 64 bit machines and a separate one for 32's. If U get it wrong, an error message will display. Available from the normal M/soft update site. |
