I have since cleaned out my case, upgraded my PSU, my graphics card and increased my RAM. I have also installed a front intake fan with a filter (cone shaped one, not the flat one) and the difference is unbelievable. :thumbs: Not only can I play Sims2 on its highest graphic settings without crashing but my CPU temp has plummeted from the late 60s to mid to LOW 30s !!!!! And it is so quiet I forget it is turned on! Oh life is great....... (until the next pc problem ;) ) Thanks to all those out there who gave their time and advice. Have a great weekend Meg |
