| 581367 | 2007-08-15 11:18:00 | Have been a dialup Kiwi Online customer for a while and am thinking of switching to their broadband. I like the look of the package: 10GB (with tolls) $29.95 a month. Was wondewring if anyone has had any experiences with KOL broadband they would like to share. Cheers. |

| 581368 | 2007-08-15 11:59:00 | Hi - just connected yesterday.. so far , so good. got line enabled in 2 days which was good..be prepared to suss out your own router settings etc- i spent a bit of time talking to the help desk yesterday but i'm using a no-name router....i've been on their dialup too for ages... i would avoid the $29.95 plan as 256k is way too slow these days ( in my opinion ) today ( after fighting my old p.o.s p.c ) i'm going great on broadband , no problems to speak of..i downloaded a 4 meg file from a kiwi server at 300kB/sec so i'm not complaining :-) their usage meter seems to be working fine too which is a relief... another popular isp is http://www.wxc.co.nz/ which my friends have found to be good... hope this helps... |

I have been with Orcon for years and I took the free homeline offer. Hopefully in a couple of days I will be free of the Telecom spider as well. |

I actually wrote a letter to them, as they had been sending those, "We will do almost anything to get you back" letters to me for about a year. Pretty much I said get stuffed, I have finally ridden myself of you scum! And if you ever send me another one of your "we want you back" mailers I will be burning it and emailing you the pictures!!! |

| 581375 | 2007-08-16 01:29:00 | Havn't actually switched over yet, they are snowed under with their 5000 free home line deal :lol:. I'm on the max down/128k up 20gig a month plan. Expect the speeds to be the same as with KOL. Time will tell. |
