580931 2007-08-14 10:47:00 My wife's computer time is now saying 12.00 I cannot synchronise it using the Date and Time in Control Panel. Is this the CMOS battery? DavidW (532)
580932 2007-08-14 11:15:00 Do you mean you cannot manually change it to the correct time or it will not synchronise with a time server?

How old is the computer?

580933 2007-08-14 12:06:00 Just done a serch for time.windows.com which is the programme that Date & Time use in control pannel. Seems this is not working. Tried to synchronise time on my computer and got the message 'An error occured while Windows was synchronising with time.windows.com' So reset my wifes computer time manually. I'll see how long it stays on time. David DavidW (532)
580934 2007-08-14 19:47:00 I suppose you can choose other time servers that are available in the synchronizing list to keep up-to-date your computer clock?

Cheers :)

I used to have this problem as well try typing tk1.ihug.co.nz in it's place. That one works.

Oh, how my fingers are itching...

But, no - I won't..

I won't...

It'd be just too easy.
A cheap shot.
