| 582504 | 2007-08-18 22:30:00 | Hi Running Vista Ultimate. Tried to instal Nero. Installation aborted because of an incompatibility issue. There are now two problems: 1 - a later Vista-compatible version fails to instal because it detects an earlier version which, it says, must be unintalled via Control Panel first; 2 - any attempt to uninstal, modify or repair the earlier installation is unsuccessful and it cannot be removed. Does anyone have any idea how we can resolve this? Many thanks. |

| 582507 | 2007-08-18 23:19:00 | So you can download them but they do nothing? I dont know what u do in Vista if it isnt running, since I dont use Vista. Someone using Vista will have to try it to see what needs to be done so it runs. Or do u mean u cant download them?? You click on the link I posted. |

That's the only place to put it where it can't stuff up your machine again. |
