| 581951 | 2007-08-17 09:20:00 | If you have a DVD writer and Nero Burning Rom handy, you can just select your files individually or en mass and burn them onto a DVD. Make sure you use a decent brand of DVD media. Also if you want to make a complete image of the hard drive, you could try Seagate DiscWizard (www.seagate.com) |

| 581952 | 2007-08-17 09:20:00 | There is already backup software built in to Windows, its called "Backup" or Microsoft Backup You can find it in Accessories\System Tools (If you have Win XP Pro, if you have Win XP Home, then you will have install it via the windows cd) (Not too sure about Vista, sorry :o ) I use it all the time to backup my data & I find it reliable & does the job. |

| 581954 | 2007-08-17 09:36:00 | Synctoy (www.microsoft.com) Does a good job of folders and data, but never tried it with a whole OS. The problems with some backups is you cant actually read them without restoring the whole backup, not much point if its only 1 document / folder you are after. |
