This is a customised Yahoo home page with a few Xtra links added if you use web mail. If you use say Outlook then your POP3 account is accesable. Rob |

2007-08-19 03:56:00 | I tried to access my xtra webmail.no luck. Rang Xtra...waited 1/2hour to get through. Was told because they have upgraded(?) I have to sign up with the Yahoo bubble first then I can access my Xtra email as normal. Well now I have a yahoo email address, which I did not want and still can not access my xtra webmail.I can not bear another 1/2 hour wait and then get wrong info. I wish they had just left everything alone. Can I get to my webmail through another channel?please | gradebdan (2186) | |
2007-08-19 04:00:00 | I believe that Orcon is looking very appealing right now as well as any other ISP that isn't Telecom. | winmacguy (3367) | |
2007-08-19 04:29:00 | Get another Spam remover? Something that works in the background? I know there is Mailwasher but wasn't keen on it when I tied it way back . I wasn't keen on Mailwasher either but I very much like PopTray (http://www . poptray . org/) . Once it is set up you run it then delete the spam before clicking on the button to open your email program (eg Outlook Express) and download your mail . All the people whose computers I have installed it on find it very easy to use, including the outlaw father who takes a while to learn new tricks sometimes  so I am sure you won't have any problems with it once you have it set up . I don't bother with bouncing spam nor do I create rules but I know Speedy does and has a list of blocked domains that you import into your own PopTray if you asked him for it . As far as this Bubble thing is concerned there's only one thing for all Xtra customers to do and that is to revolt . Complain and complain loud and clear .

2007-08-19 06:03:00 | lol yup, there must be like 100+, domains in my blacklist atm. If anyone wants the list, let me know. I'll save it as a txt file and well if it fits in a PM or email the txt file to you. All you have to do is open the txt file and copy and paste whats in it into the blacklist.

2007-08-19 08:14:00 | If you are getting spam from the Xtra POP3 server forward it to: spamreport@xtra.co.nz. Then they might start to act! Rob

2007-08-19 08:51:00 | Had another try at xtra's help phone because all my email addresses are in the webmail site which I can not access. So took 45 mins, to be told that the techies hadn't finished transferring everyones info and that if I try tomorrow I shall be able to access my "addresses" thro their new email site"mail pro". I have to say I have no confidence in this fact. | gradebdan (2186) | |
2007-08-19 11:07:00 | I created sub-email account but Outlook can only receive and cannot send. Tried to contact Xtra several times from last night untill now and I gave up. I've no patience to hang onto the phone for more than half an hour! | bk T (215) | |
