583573 2007-08-22 00:16:00 Do any of you, have an IRDA mobo module/adapter?

Or know where I can find one . In NZ, not from overseas .

As I've got no way of paying for it . If its overseas .

I know you can buy USB / serial IRDA adapters .

BUT, I'll rather get the module, since the connection is on the mobo .

Ta

Stuff "The Rules". These forums aren't totally run by Big Brother, so if you have a product or service that someone's after, go for it. (besides... the prices will likely be out-of-date within 24 hours anyway!)

583582 2007-08-22 09:38:00 Problem is they dont have any real way to mount them. Just a wee board
& a bracket & screw

Gigabyte used to sell them (I have one) that plugs into the actual m/b
(No longer stocked by Melco)
Since serial is becoming discontinued by most manufactures, it going to be hard to find one. Try the actual m/b manufacturers site & see if they still sell em.

or one of these, & just use the receiver
