584396 2007-08-25 03:59:00 Cheap air compressors are ridiculously cheap these days. Of course, they won't last long if used hard, but an airbrush isn't a heavy load. Don't consider one of the 12V ones intended for car tyres. Graham L (2)

Very true there, Vacum cleaners give of static, and nylon added to the mix could be asking for it.

I personally use a compressor purchased from Mitre10, installed a proper air filter in the line to capture any moisture/rubbish and turn the pressure right down so its enough to blow out the dust/dirt, but not strong enough to damage parts. Something like This (www.mitre10.co.nz) Under $100 + Air filter

PS: Also good for blowing up the car tyres with the right connection / adaptors.

That is assuming you place the nozzle RIGHT next to the computer. From a small distance or so away and with the crevice tool, you should be able to get the job done.
