583995 2007-08-22 22:08:00 I just noticed / found out this morning, that it started to block EVERYTHING.

Everything was fine, up to this morning.

I could connect, and ping, but couldnt go anywhere, with Opera, FF, or IE.

Sites wouldn't load. Poptray would bring up emails, but I couldnt receive them.

I even rang Ihug twice to see what the prob was. Ihug said there were no probs at their end.

After 20-30 mins, I decided to uninstall Comodo, and I was surprised that sites loaded!

So, I'm not too sure WHY Comodo decided to block EVERYTHING

So, if you're using Comodo, and NOT getting anywhere, you may have to uninstall Comodo to fix it.

583996 2007-08-23 00:44:00 It's working here Firefox and all.

I DO notice that my iGoogle is strange looking though...lost some of the colors and art work.

583997 2007-08-23 01:00:00 Got a reply in the comodo forums, they said this could be due to the MS updates last week (yes its a "delayed prob") so they said.

You have to uninstall comodo in safe mode, and reinstall it in safe mode.

This is what I had to do, seems to be ok for now.

Just remember to turn XP's firewall OFF, if u use XP.

583999 2007-08-23 01:21:00 Only annoying thing with Comodo is, if u use Windowsupdate.

You have to add these to it.

Rule 1:
Action : Allow
Protocol : IP
Direction : In
Source IP : Any
Destination IP : Host name: http://*.update.microsoft.com
IP Details : Any

Rule 2:
Action : Allow
Protocol : IP
Direction : In
Source IP : Any
Destination IP : Host name: https://*.update.microsoft.com
IP Details : Any

These should be above the block rule in the list of netwok monitor rules.

Or else it'll bring up an error. I just did this twice the stupid thing still didnt work!
