584088 2007-08-25 22:52:00 Lizard, the does actually state the requirements of the psu as I had thought...at least i couldnt find it, however this is a known requirement amonst the owner of the card..

from the forum..... (www.sapphiretech.com)

As to $300 psu with only 18amps, 30amps is recommended only because not all wattage claimed by psu's is of the same quality if you get my meaning.
A 350w seasonic is probably better than a 500w hiper.

Trust me, buy this card at your risk! Check out that forum, most of the top issues are all that card!!

584089 2007-08-26 04:43:00 Alright then, what would you recommend for a graphics card/PSU combo? Lizard (2409)
584090 2007-08-26 08:42:00 Well, lizard, I'm in the same boat mate, check the sign!, AGP board and the fastest card requires fusion to power it.....
I am upgrading to a PCIx motherboard, trouble is thats, mobo, cpu (ram i have) and a graphics card. G92 comes out Oct/Nov meaning 88xx series well drop in price 30-50%.
I have no other recommendation for you as AGP card are a premium over their PCIx countparts.....

Lets face it, its time to move off AGP bus.....

You could just go for a 79xx series to hold you over.....
