| 584091 | 2007-07-11 09:49:00 | i to have the same problem. just simple hardware, nvidea agp 8x graphics card pc chips motherboard and ive installed and running vista but i keep gettin errors NON_PAGE_DEFAULT and IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL. another thing is wen im downloadin and i leave my computer for a while it switches itself off and i cant turn it back on even if i unplug the power lead and put it back. i have to wait for ages and mess around with it to get it back. can someone help me plz? | mostacular (12712) | ||
| 584092 | 2007-08-23 17:02:00 | in response to mostacular posting, whats the cause of the shutdown and error not less or equal error problem, my heatsink and fan power supply and graphic card are brand new, i have a athlon 64 3000+ 2ghz sapphire x1950 pro 512 agp old mother board and cpu still, thought it might be hardware issue, paid tech to diagnostic it, no problems noticed?? |

| 584093 | 2007-08-23 21:42:00 | IRQL NOT LESS OR EQUAL is usually a driver problem. Your tech is useless, get a refund. Did you update the motherboard drivers? Do a fresh WIndows insytall - or just install over the top? |

| 584094 | 2007-08-23 23:47:00 | I'd check your RAM and PSU (connections and voltage supplied), make sure everything is seated nice and snug and running within correct temperature margins. Have you changed anything recently, hardware, software, windows update? Look in event viewer for the specific events, they will have an event ID in the details that may give some clue. |
