584044	2007-08-23 08:40:00	It will play and burn DVD-R but wont play and burn DVD+R. Its meant to do both, any ideas?	Clod (7853)
584045	2007-08-23 22:00:00	I don't have any problems with my BLT. Try updating the firmware to the latest one as it may add some compatibility for more media. Also, try a different brand of media. If you're using something reliable like Verbatim then it should burn those no problems.	autechre (266)
584046	2007-08-24 07:55:00	I seem to have to DVD Devices showing in My Computer. I have E = Asus 1814BLT and F = Virtual CD scsi. I think that F is coming up as the default all the time and I need E with the 1814 BLT to be the default. How do I do this and what is the thing on F, do I need it and can it be deleted ? I only have the Asus on the computer nothing else so where the device on F came from I dont know.	Clod (7853)
584047	2007-08-24 08:28:00	After looking on net F is something to do with Intervideo Copy Trial Version, have now uninstalled the Intervideo Trial but still have he F=IVI VirtualCD SCSI in My Computer I'm presuming if I can get rid of it the E=Asus 1814 will then be the only default burner/player and everything should be OK. I just don't know how to get rid of it.	Clod (7853)

584050	2007-08-24 08:54:00	Well look in all programs, or post what you've got in add/remove programs. Take a snapshot and post it on ImageF1. Or if u have ccleaner. Run it then tools/uninstall. Click on save to text file. Copy and paste the text file here	Speedy Gonzales (78)

584052	2007-08-24 09:24:00	Hmm doesnt look theres anything there to do with any program that creates virtual anything. Update lightscribe, its up to 1.8.15.1. The update is here (www.lightscribe.com) Some program MUST have been installed previously and uninstalled. But left its drivers. Look under dvd/cd rom drives in device manager, if theres another entry here besides the burner (thats if the burner is the only burner youve got, delete it and reboot). See if that fixes it. 584053	2007-08-24 10:48:00	Well the virtual cd was there tried to delete several times wouldnt go away so have disabled it. Could be that the asus doesnt like my TDK Discs. Stop Press!!! Have tried a couple of different disc makes including another TDK both + and - and they work. The differance is that they have a light silver or gold colour on the non image side whereas the ones	Clod (7853)
