585051 2007-08-27 23:09:00 Hi Guys,

"The team @ Xtra.." have been a little under the weather recently. The email@... test has not worked over the last week or so, but they've been too busy answering calls to tell anyone or update the help site!

Their new email system apparently comes with a new test address - try this:

ctstest@xtra.co.nz

585052 2007-08-27 23:28:00 That will tell you that you can send and receive but is it proof that the mail wouldn't be regarded as SPAM in someone else's mailbox? meg_h_nz's boss isn't interested but she does need feedback from one of her Xtra targets. PaulD (232)
585053 2007-08-27 23:56:00 Hi again - ref the ctstest@xtra.co.nz test address...

My apologies - this DID work yesterday (on a call to the helpdesk) but is clearly NOT working right now!

Regards,
martnz

585054 2007-08-28 05:53:00 "My ISP is Telstra (I am with paradise)
Can anyone tell me what is wrong?"

Has anyone noticed this part of Meg's post?

I have in the past experienced up to 14 days delay between Paradise customers. I'm one myself.

I have no solution, but could the problem be with Telstra?

Good point Pom.
Could it a problem with Telstra/Paradise???
And could the hassle with Xtra just be another wrench in my sorry email saga??
