Have also bought V8 Supercars 3 in anticipation the drive will go. Late last night I unplugged the floppy from Ide3 and swapped it with the converter which was in Ide2. Now the bios post test thingy says "Floppy failed" and cant see the DVD drive. Soon I am going to try plugging the converter into Ide1 with the hard drive and see if that helps. Everything appears to be plugged in properly but I'll give them another hit with the big hammer to make sure. Fingers crossed. |

I unplugged the hard drives from IDE 1, put them in IDE 2, put the converter in IDE 1, plugged all the paraphanlia in the back again, turned it on and presto: it all works as it should. Thanks all for your help and suggestions.   |
