| 585084 | 2007-08-27 08:19:00 | i installed ea link today, and it doesnt connect to ea at all, tryd to redownload the install from the ea website it was so painfully slow 1.2kbps crashed usually. no idea why this is happening everything else is running fine, the reason im so annoyed is that you cant buy the battlefield 2142 northern strike booster pack on cd you have to download it >_< anyone go any ideas? the computer that hosts ics is win xp sp2 and the computer im trying to get it going on is vista ultimate x64, i also installed ea link on the xp comp to find no difference | Codex (3761) | ||

| 585089 | 2007-08-30 23:34:00 | Sounds like Steam . :yuck: Try their forum well after a massive thread in the ea support, and being treated like a moron with no problem by xtra, still no resolution, think its time for a new isp ea helped sort of, in the end said id have to contact my isp in which i did ea also got me to do some tests which was understandable (results here for traces . imageshack . us/img214/3442/testph8 . gif" target="_blank">img214 . imageshack . us) Xtra said, its not our problem, even though i had specifically told them, it works in my friends house that also has xtra, in another area, but not here . the operator just flagged it off saying its a problem overseas, then quickly said bye and i was disconnected, hahahahaha so another pain in the absolute ass for me wahoo . |
