2007-08-29 19:15:00 | Noooooooooooo! After great comments earlier in the week about AutoPatcher, I was going to download and burn a disc this weekend. Talk about terrible timing. I guess it's true what Mum used to say, never put off till tomorrow what.........etc.

2007-08-29 19:25:00 | Is there anyone out there who would be willing to burn me a disc of their latest/last download? Core and updates as I've got none of it. Even if the updates aren't the latest (although that would be nice!), it will mean not too much time downloading the latest from MS.....on dial-up. Please, please, please:help: I am more than happy to pay for the disc and postage. Thanks, Graham.

2007-08-29 19:29:00 | If anyone has a reasonably later version of the XP autopatcher, can you drop us a note in here please. I have the 2000 version, plus a real early version for XP (approx SP1 days) as I discovered in my old files. I might just check out the torrent sites too :)

2007-08-29 19:37:00 | Autopatcher releases for XP were good as, especially the full from Nov. for clean SP2 installs. They'd been a little buggy recently which is why I didn't use it for Vista, but the news does suck. Wonder what took Microsoft so long, surely theres a case for delayed action or something. Just kidding. | sal (67) | |
2007-08-29 19:42:00 | What a pain. I've always manually downed and saved the updates MS tells me I need, but was planning on going solely to AP. especially since they included some that I can't get off MS, seeing I won't install the WGA. Anyhow, I've got the following if any one wants them. AutoPatcher XP Full May 2007 Date: 2007-05-31 Size: 304 Mb License: Freeware (English June 2007)Update release AutoPatcher XP July 2007 Update AutoPatcher Extras July 2007 Addon, For AutoPatcher 2000/XP/2003 (32-bit) English August 2007 Update - File Size: 39.1 MB AutoPatcher Office 2003 August 2007, For English version of Office 2003 # English August 2007 Core - File Size: 55.1MB (57,873,804 bytes) :annoyed:

2007-08-29 19:59:00 | I see on torrents sites, there are listings for say August 2007 core, or others like June 2007 addon. Do the latest core downloads include all previous addons? | Myth (110) | |
2007-08-29 21:31:00 | Autopatchers Torrent Trackers are STILL WORKING as of 8.55am today. Bringing through the XP Aug07 Core ( 332.5 Mb) at a healthy 350 kb/s Heres (autopatcher.m2ys4u.co.uk) the link to the Autopatcher Torrent download Page.

2007-08-29 23:45:00 | From the linkin Stu's post - " The concern at Microsoft had more to do with the possible malicious code that could be redistributed with certified Microsoft updates." Any how many times do MS send out "buggy" patches - None - YEAH RIGHT:lol: Pass the can of Tui's thanks
