| 585341 | 2007-08-28 00:16:00 | I have AVG 7.5.484 and am using Thunderbird 2. Up until xtra changed to secure SSL my email was being scanned and notice appearing at the bottom in incoming mail. Now it doesn't appear to be working. I have set Thunderbird according to instructions fro Extra and also reset up AVG. Any thoughts? |

| 585342 | 2007-08-28 03:46:00 | Its something to do with Xtras new setting I think. Got a customer who HAD xtra, using Nod32 antivirus, the scanning attachments box stopped appearing when Xta did their change. She changed to Paradise today and dumped Xtra - instantly the Scanning box reappeared when receiving attachments. I suspect AVG / Thunderbird is the same. |

| 585344 | 2007-08-28 04:18:00 | I have set Thunderbird according to instructions fro Extra and also reset up AVG. Any thoughts? Since the email scanner sits between Thunderbird and Xtra shouldn't you be applying Xtra settings to the email scanner and AVG settings to Thunderbird? Thunderbird > local address + Xtra port nos > AVG > SSL Xtra settings > Xtra |
