Attaching another good known battery will tell you one way or another, get it replaced while its still under warranty if it is a dud battery. [/URL] I would agree with wainuitech on this, since all your other settings seems fine. A friend had a similar problem with his laptop, freezes after a few minutes on battery power (with full charge) but worked fine on the mains. |

| 585894 | 2007-08-30 17:37:00 | I may have missed something here, but my work laptop does something similar. It doesn't like going into standby or hibernation, both were originally set to 5 minutes and 8 minutes respectively (While running on batteries). Have you checked these settings? |
